These terms apply to your use of TitleEntry, the book cataloguing service at titleentry.com, provided by Create Type W.L.L., a company registered in the Kingdom of Bahrain (“we”, “us”). If you use TitleEntry for an organisation, you accept these terms on its behalf. A quote or agreement we have signed with you takes priority over these terms where the two differ.
We set up each account on request. Keep your sign-in details to yourself and to the people you choose to give access, and tell us straight away at support@titleentry.com if you think someone else has used your account. You are responsible for what happens in your account.
TitleEntry lets you build and manage a catalogue of books by scanning barcodes, photographing shelves and title pages, importing spreadsheets and typing entries, and gives you tools to organise, check, count, sell and export that catalogue. Which tools your account includes depends on your account type and your quote. We improve TitleEntry continually and may change or replace features; if we remove something your account relies on, we will tell you in advance.
Fees are as set out in your quote and are payable as the quote says. Taxes are added where the law requires. Shelf photo scans and title page scans use credits from your account’s balance as shown in TitleEntry. Credits have no cash value and are not refundable, unless your quote says otherwise.
Your catalogue, photos, notes and the other information you put into TitleEntry remain yours. You give us permission to store and process them to provide the service to you, as described in our privacy policy. Make sure you have the right to upload what you upload.
Book details that TitleEntry finds for you (such as titles, authors, publishers, ISBNs and covers) come from book databases, library catalogues and other sources, and are kept in a shared reference database used to look books up for all customers.
TitleEntry reads spines, title pages and barcodes and looks books up in outside sources. You can review and correct any result at any time. Please check details that matter, such as edition, price or condition, before relying on them for a sale, an insurance claim, an audit or a legal requirement. TitleEntry gives you an accurate tool for keeping records; decisions based on those records are yours.
When using TitleEntry, please:
We may suspend an account that puts the service or other customers at risk, and will tell you why.
We work to keep TitleEntry running smoothly and to fix problems quickly. Occasionally it may be briefly unavailable for maintenance or because of a problem with a provider we rely on. Exporting your catalogue regularly keeps your own copy up to date.
You can stop using TitleEntry and ask us to close your account at any time. We may end the service for an account that has not paid or that breaks these terms, after telling you. Before an account closes you can export your catalogue; after closure we delete your data as set out in our privacy policy.
TitleEntry is provided as it is, and to the extent the law allows we give no promises beyond those in these terms and your quote. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits, lost sales or lost opportunities. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
We may update these terms. We will show the new date at the top and tell customers by email about any change that matters before it applies. Continuing to use TitleEntry after that means you accept the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Bahrain, and the courts of the Kingdom of Bahrain have jurisdiction over any dispute. This does not take away any protection the law of your own country gives you and that cannot be excluded by agreement.
